In North Carolina, adult driver education programs, while not mandatory for individuals 18 and older, can offer benefits like lower insurance costs and enhanced safety training. 

  • Adult Driver Ed In-Person Course + 2-Hour Private Lesson

    This package includes the driver ed course and the first private driving lesson. After the 2-hour lesson, the instructor will recommend that you take more lessons or take the road test.

  • Adult Driver Ed In-Person Course ONLY

    This course provides the minimum in-person classroom requirements for adults who would like to take the driving lesson portion of the training.

  • Road Test Prep with School Vehicle Rental

    Gain more confidence behind the wheel and improve skills such as highway driving, parallel parking, and defensive driving for 2 hours. You will then get use the vehicle, and take the NC DMV road test.
