Dennis Hubert
Lead Instructor & Road Test Examiner
Dennis Hubert was born and raised in Charlotte, growing up on the city's west side. He graduated from South Mecklenburg High School and later attended Central Piedmont Community College, where he earned a degree in Business Management and Human Resources Development.
As a business owner and mentor, Dennis also consults with aspiring entrepreneurs, helping new business owners successfully launch and operate their companies.
With more than 25 years of experience in driver education, Dennis is a licensed North Carolina Driver Education Instructor and a certified Private NC Driver License Examiner. He is committed to promoting safe, confident, and responsible drivers throughout the community.
Dennis is an active member of ADTSEA and the North Carolina Driver & Traffic Safety Education Association. He has completed defensive driving certification training through AAA and the National Safety Council, and he also serves as a North Carolina Notary Public.
Through Zero to 60 Driving Academy, Dennis helps students complete driver education, defensive driving, and DMV road testing services in a professional and supportive environment. The academy proudly serves teens, adults, nervous drivers, and individuals seeking court-ordered or insurance-related driving courses.
Zero to 60 Driving Academy is a BBB Accredited Business and is committed to providing high-quality driver education services that meet North Carolina standards. Dennis has also received specialized training related to teaching students with ADHD and attention-related learning challenges how to drive safely and confidently. He participates in the ADDitude ADHD Learning Series to stay informed on best practices and learning strategies.
Outside the classroom, Dennis enjoys fishing, watching football, and restoring classic cars.
